Purpose: to reduce thickening on the wings affected by the aircraft power plants beams and change the structural layout correspondingly.

✍️Calculations: Body and Aerodynamics

  1. Determine the optimal position of the lifting aircraft power plants mounting beams FROM ONE POINT in the tail section of the flying wing, and the optimal position of the pusher airscrew:

    • Attack angle, α: 0 / 2 / 4 degrees

    • Speed, V: 90 km/h

  2. Define parameters as follows:

    • Ascensional force (general and distributed across the aircraft elements), kg;

    • Resistance (general and distributed across the aircraft elements), kg;

    • Wing/drag ratio.

  3. Fill out the chart below.

  4. Specify the modeling environment used.
